Due to the waterproof rating of 50 meters / 5 ATM, it is hard to consider the Jaeger-LeCoultre AMVOX I as a divers watch…
With it’s link to Aston Martin, it is closer to see this one as a drivers watch…
Even if normally a drivers watch would be a chronograph and not an alarm…
While the AMVOX I is a very cool and sporty watch I would consider it more as a “link in-between” than the main event of the AMVOX series…
The real drivers watch for me, is the AMVOX 2 Chronograph with the vertical trigger. Activating and deactivating the chronograph by pushing the the crystal at 12 and resetting the chronograph at 6.
A new concept, maybe launched too early, before its time…
Very much like the Futurmatic, advanced technology created by thinking “outside the box”. Released and dropped before the market was ready to make the mental “jump into the future”?
