Here the original Jaeger-LeCoultre E 168 Geophysic shown on top of the Tribute Geophysic which was launched in 2014.

The vintage version is a watch which checks many boxes for me:
Jaeger-LeCoultre, Chronometer, 125 Jubilé Collection, Antimagnetic…
The original Geophysic was a part of the Jaeger-LeCoultre 125 Years Jubilé Collection in 1958.
Both the original Geophysic as the Tribute came with two dial versions, the more common and well-known “plain” dial and this Crosshair dial.
While the original were made in three metals; Steel, Yellow Gold and Rose Gold, the Tribute were added in a forth metal, Platinum.
Of all the Tribute versions I like the Platinum the best.
Will return to this watch in coming posts, so stay tuned!
