I think many of us are collecting the beautiful Year Books that Jaeger-LeCoultre are making since 2008.
But did you know that Jaeger-LeCoultre already made a book back in 1958? In the celebration of the 125 Year’s Anniversary, yes – again the Jubilé collection!
I got aware of this book back in 2011 when…
I found the book in French. Only issue is that I do not read or speak French.
The book is called “The Valley of Joux and the LeCoultre watch factory”.

The book is as the title say, both about the Valley Joux and the LeCoultre watch factory. A lot of beautiful and interesting photos.
But when you are not able to read the text it is quite limiting…
Eight years passed and then… I finally found the English version of this book!

Now I am able to read what is written in the Jaeger-LeCoultre Year Book of 1958!

Eight years of hunting finally over. Now I will take my time to read and enjoy this book! Hopefully I will find answers to some of my questions or at least get a feeling for how the Valley of Joux were back in 1958 when the Jubilé collection was created…
