Posted by As you might know, I love the colour blue… So when I got the chance to see the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Duoface with sub-seconds in blue I had to take a couple of shots to share here…
At first glace the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Duoface reference 3988482 is all about the colour, blue! The sunburst dial, the Casa Fagliano strap… Yes, absolutely stunning BLUE!
The sub-seconds dial gives the dial a different balance than the Reverso Tribute Blue we saw earlier. Not sure which one I prefer, it’s not really possible to compare the two as the dials are so different…
But if you make up your mind on this watch based on the front, you are really missing out – because the back is as stunning as the front!
In a much lower key, not as much shouting “look at me” as the front side… The back side is more like a whisper “come, come here, take a good look at me”…
The beauty of the back side is much more sublet, more close and personal. You really need to look for it to see it, the Clous de Paris Guilloché, the different levels of the dial… That, in combination with the three “Reverso lines” top and bottom of the dial and the sunray engraving on the inside of the case back… Yes, top drawer!
