Many collectors have the Tourbillon as one of their dream watches… One can look at the spinning Tourbillon for hours… And even longer if it is a several axis Tourbillon…!
For many years this complication was reserved only to be used in the finest men’s watches, but here we have one for the ladies!
The Jaeger-LeCoultre reference 3413480 Rendez-Vous Tourbillon. A 39 mm creation in white gold and diamonds!
Compared with the Jaeger-LeCoultre Dazzling Rendez-Vous Moon I shared last week, the character is completely different even if both are belongs to the Rendez-Vous line.
Still shiny but a bit less than the Moon version… Yes, this Tourbillon version have some more diamonds ~241 (~168) but less carats ~2.8 (~3.43). One of the big differences is that the second row of diamonds is not located on the bezel here, but on the side of the case, hard to see in these shots, but very nicely done.
The deep blue sunburst dial also tones the watch down compared with the Mother of Pearl dial of the Moon version.

Normally I am not a big fan of Tourbillon watches where the Tourbillon only can be admired through a small hole in the dial…
But here I think Jaeger-LeCoultre integrated the Tourbillon very nicely with the overall design of the dial!
The diamond bezel is replicated also on the inside of the numerals and around the Tourbillon. That in combination with the opening for the Tourbillon is rather large makes it natural for the eye to zoom in on and make the Tourbillon the centre of attention!

Inside is the automatic Calibre 978, very well propositioned for the case size, showing the beautiful pink gold rotor filling up the case.

Yes, another serious offer for the ladies, both beautiful and technical advanced – T.W.O key ingredients for a high end watch like this!
Big thank you to Nymans Ur, Krons and the Jaeger-LeCoultre team for letting me see this watch up close!
