Posted by Today I am wearing the Jaeger-LeCoultre reference 24002 Master Mariner Chronometer. A very comfortable watch with a kind of Funky 70s
cushion shaped case, 39 mm wide.
Lovely watch but to set the Day-Date is kind of cumbersome…
The 24002 was in production in the early and mid 1970s. Inside is the automatic movement Calibre 906.
The Ebony black hands and markers makes great contrast against the silver grey dial.
And yes – a Chronometer, something we will look into more.
