For me, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor Memovox is such watch! Built like a tank, can take a beating without loosing its look…
A bit surprising is that it is only water-resistant down to 100 meters / 10 ATM, but with the compressor crowns at T.W.O and four, it really feels solid!
On a Nato or rubber strap it really is a care free watch – to be used as a tool, whatever you do, where ever you go!
The trend now with the increased pricing, more exclusive design and materials – especially within the steel sports watch segment…
Will it kill the true tool watch among the major brands?
Already today you can see people who buy an exclusive sports watch to be used in the office or at the party… But once a real tool watch situation occurs, they use one from a less exclusive brand…
Something that would be interesting to know is how many percentage of all modern divers watches have ever touched water..?
