We have time for one more Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox before this year and the decade ends…
The Jaeger-LeCoultre reference 3151 Memovox, the second of many Memovox references…
If it was launched together with the 3150 Memovox in 1950 or if in the year after – I am not sure…
But one thing that I am sure of is the in the 1951 Basel Watch Fair, Memovox was the main number for Jaeger-LeCoultre!

Compared to the 3150, difference is on the lugs. The 3151 have more traditional lugs while the 3150 have the “tube lugs”.

Other than that, not much difference – case 35 mm in diameter, manual Calibre P 489/1 with the Memovox function.

As many of the early catalogues, the cover is beautifully illustrated with symbols of time…

The 3151 lived on longer than the 3150, still in the catalogue in 1955.

Will return with a more detailed report of the 3150 and the 3151 – stay tuned!
