Guest Review: Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control 25th Anniversary Chronograph
By Luis, @luis6_kch
At SIHH 2017, JLC unveiled three watches to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Master Control line, and this Chronograph immediately caught my eyes.

I liked it so much that I ordered one without even handling the watch in person.
There are a lot of things to be liked about this watch, such as the perfectly balanced and symmetrical look, the sector dial, the syringe hands and the blue touches. The sunken sub-dials with concentric circles is also a nice feature. I also like contrast between different parts of the dial shown by the different surface patterns and different shades of grey/silver.

Although the watch does not come with a see-through case back for viewing the movement, I found the engravings on the solid case back very visually appealing.

Having owned the watch for more than two years now, I still like it as much as the moment I received it. 40mm is a very wearable size for my 16cm wrist, and the watch goes well with either my casual outfits or shirts and ties on working days.

It’s not an “in your face” type of watch; wearing it is just an easy and fun experience.

Although not a limited edition, It’s said that the three Master Control 25th Anniversary watches were only in production for one year. I highly recommend all three watches to those who are interested.
Thank you for this first hand review, Luis! Always good to read about a watch from a owners point of view!
